Tours

A guided tour of Mare Island Historic Park is the best way to see the highlights and learn the history of this fascinating island.

Sites you will see include the stately Colonial Revival-era mansions of Officers Row, St. Peter’s Chapel with its Tiffany stained glass windows, Alden Park, the Mare Island Museum (Bldg. 46), and the dry docks along the waterfront of Mare Island Straits. Tours of Mare Island last about 2.5 to 3 hours.
